Google Drive and iMovie

Now that the iPads are out you may want to give iMovie a try. Currently getting data like video off the iPad is a little difficult. Even if it was possible it would be a tedious process and not how I would like to spend my time. But.....

We live in a cloud based world. It is really easy to upload videos on the iPad to Google Drive. You will first need create your video and save it on the iPad. Second, log into Google Drive and upload your video. It will take a few minutes to upload the video, and a little longer to have it processed on Google servers. After that go to Google Drive on the iPad or the computer and watch your video. With Google Drive, the iPad is one mean video creating machine.

One last important bit of information. After you have completed this process it is very important that you delete any videos you or students have created. While watching some 4th and 5th graders lip sync Britney Spears might seem tame enough, there may be videos with confidential information such as with student observations.
