100,00 minutes, can Schenk do it! This week a flyer will go home announcing our school goal of reading 100,000 minutes prior to the bookfair.
Next week we will have a table setup with reading ballots where students can write down their name, book title, and minutes read. The ballots will be collected for each grade level; K/1, 2/3, and 4/5 during the two week period with a drawing prior to the book fair.
Each grade level will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize. 1st will be $15 in scholastic dollars, 2nd $10 in scholastic dollars, and 3rd $5 in scholastic dollars. The winners will be random although the laws of probability could certainly come into play.
